Book your car
Book your cambio car via the app, website, or by phone.
You will receive a booking confirmation with all the important information by email.
Plan your journeys with extra time to avoid delays. Any unused time at the end of your booking will only be charged at 50%.
Please note that a late return will incur additional costs. For more details, please refer to the price list.
Hit the road
Use the cambio app. Take the key from the glove compartment. You may need to enter your PIN at this point. A green LED in the safe will indicate your vehicle key. After completing a damage check, you’re ready to begin your journey.
Check the outside and inside of the car for damage before every journey. Please report all scratches larger than a credit card (8.5 x 5.5 cm) and dents with a diameter larger than a two-euro coin (2.5 cm) to the booking service. Fine scratches that do not go through to the metal do not need to be reported. Damage control is primarily for your own safety and only takes two minutes. Use the cambio app or the logbook to check the damage.
On the go
Extend your trip in advance if you anticipate a delay. The easiest way to do this is through the quick extension feature in the cambio app. If an extension isn't possible, please notify the booking service immediately via the app or by calling +49 421 79 466 43. Additional costs may apply for delays and overruns. For more details, please refer to the price list.
In the event of an accident or breakdown, call the booking service immediately through the app or at +49 421 79 466 43, and they will assist you.
In case of an accident, always call the police. Additional information and documents can be found in the logbook.
Return your car
Always return the car to the station where you started your journey within your booked time. The cambio app will help guide you back to the station. Only park the car in the designated cambio parking spot. If the cambio parking spot is occupied, please inform the booking service via the app or at +49 421 79 466 43.
cambio cars are regularly cleaned by us. However, it’s important that everyone is considerate and returns the cars in a clean state. Therefore, smoking in our cars is not permitted. Pets may only be taken along in transport boxes in the boot. This ensures that everyone can feel comfortable in cambio vehicles.
Please put the car key back into the holder in the glove compartment and lock the car using the cambio app or the cambio card. At stations with a safe, lock the car with the key and return it to any available slot in the safe.
For electric cars, start the charging process at the charging station before locking the car.
