We ensure that the electric car is adequately charged at the start of your journey, making it perfect for short and medium distances. Sign up and book one now.
On your return:
- Take the charging cable out of the trunk and connect it to the cambio car.
- Connect the charging cable to the charging point.
- Start the charging process (you may need the charging card from the on-board manual).
- Check whether the charging process has started, put the charging card back in the on-board manual if necessary, and lock the car with the cambio app.

Regardless of the booking method you select, please always state how many kilometers you need energy for. This ensures that the cambio car has adequate charge. If you exceed the initially specified kilometers during your journey, you'll need to recharge the car along the way.
If you drive the number of kilometers you specified when booking, you will not need to charge the vehicle during your period of use. If you want to drive more kilometers, you will need to charge the e-car. You can find instructions here.
Please return the charging card after use. It is important that the charging card always remains in the car.
This varies depending on the vehicle type. Sometimes there is a button next to the steering wheel or on the key with a “plug” symbol, or there may be a switch in the socket. Please refer to the e-car instructions.
You haven't yet disconnected the charging cable. To end the charging process, pull the cable out of the vehicle’s socket and disconnect it from the charging station. Place the charging cable in the trunk. You can now start the car. Further details can be found in the e-car instructions.
