Cancellation
In the event of cancellation, the costs of the telephone booking fee remain in effect. Retroactive cancellations are not possible.
Late return fee
Please extend your booking in good time (i.e. BEFORE the end of your booking). If you only extend after the end of your booking or do not extend at all, you will pay an increased late return fee plus double time price. You avoid fees if you book generously. Unused remaining time will be automatically cancelled if you return early and charged at 50% of the time price.
Compensation credit
If your booked cambio car is not available at the start of the booking, we will try to book a replacement vehicle of at least the same value at the same station or pay for a taxi transfer to a replacement vehicle at another location. If cambio is unable to arrange a replacement vehicle within a reasonable period of time, you will be entitled to a compensation credit. If you can actually prove a higher loss, you are entitled to compensation up to a maximum of 50 euros.
If you cause damage with your cambio car, you will have to pay part of the costs yourself (excess). You can reduce the excess with our security package SiPack.

The SiPack is an independent contract. The SiPack is concluded for a period of 12 months and is automatically extended if the SiPack is not cancelled before the end of the term. The cancellation period is one month from the second year of the contract. The amount is due at the start of a new contract year and is refunded pro rata from the 13th month of the contract. The SiPack is concluded per driving authorisation.
cambio reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the costs of the security package and the amount of the excess to compensate for cost increases after the end of the first year of the contract instead of cancelling the contract. These changes will be offered to the customer in text form or electronically at least 6 weeks before they come into effect, emphasising the changes. In this case, the customer has the right to cancel the contract without notice within 4 weeks of receiving notification of the change. This right is expressly referred to in the notification of change.
