To unlock your cambio car, simply use the cambio app on your smartphone while standing in front of the vehicle. Ensure you have a data connection through Wi-Fi or mobile data.
Press the Fahrzeug öffnen button in the app and follow the provided instructions. You will find the car key in the glove compartment. If necessary, the onboard computer will prompt you to enter your cambio-PIN.
Similarly, to return the car, use the app. Leave the key in the glove compartment and lock the car using the Fahrzeug abgeben button in the app.
How to open the cambio safe
At stations with a key safe, please remove the car key from the safe. You can open the safe with the cambio app or your cambio card. A small light will indicate which key is yours.
