Simply open the cambio car using the button Fahrzeug öffnen in the cambio app once you are standing in front of the car. Make sure you have a stable internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data).
If there is a reader field on the windshield, you can also open the car using your cambio card. Hold the card up to the reader until the doors unlock.
You will find the car key in the slot in the glove compartment or in the onboard computer. Entering your cambio PIN is only required if you opened the vehicle with your cambio card.
Important: Once you have removed the key, you must start the car within 10 minutes, otherwise your booking will automatically be canceled.
When returning the car, please insert the key back into the designated slot and lock the vehicle via the app using the button Fahrzeug angeben.

How to open the cambio safe
At stations with a key safe, please remove the car key from the safe. You can open the safe with the cambio app or your cambio card. A small light will indicate which key is yours.
