Why are the kilometer prices for electric cars at cambio increasing at the same rate as those for combustion engine cars?
The purchasing costs of an electric car are still higher than those of a combustion engine. Additionally, electric cars typically do not achieve the same monthly mileage as combustion engine cars. Consequently, operating electric cars is currently hardly economical and often results in losses.
We view electric cars in the cambio fleet as an investment in the future. The financing of this investment is supported, in part, by the price per kilometer calculated for combustion engines.
