How do I do the damage check before starting the journey?

Check the inside and outside of the car before you set off. To do this, walk around the car once and check the booked car for visible defects and damage.

This is how the damage check works:

•  Check the vehicle inside and out for damage. Please also check the roof, wheels, exterior mirrors, headlights, rear lights and windscreen.
•  If you notice any damage, compare it with the damage list in the cambio app. You can also find the damage list in the logbook.
• The damage is not on the damage list? Report the damage directly to the booking service on +49 421 79 466 43
• Please report all scratches larger than a credit card (8.5 x 5.5 cm) and dents with a diameter larger than a two-euro coin (2.5 cm) to the booking service.

Important: Once you have removed the key from the cambio car, you must start the car within 10 minutes. Otherwise your booking will be automatically cancelled.

Damage control is particularly important for your own safety.
