Don't worry about the range
First things first: if you drive as far as you specified when booking your cambio car, you don't need to worry about the range. You only need to make a charging stop if you are travelling a longer distance than specified.
If the range displayed in the car at the start of your journey is less than the distance you have booked, please contact the cambio booking service directly: +49 421 79 466 43.
Simply collect the e-car from the cambio station and disconnect the charging cable from the charging point and cambio car. If the charging cable is not permanently attached to the charging station, place it in the boot. You're fine to go!
Start the charging process
At the conclusion of your journey, it's crucial to initiate the charging process correctly—the next person using the cambio car relies on the booked range as well.
Retrieve the charging cable from the trunk and connect it to the cambio car. Then, plug the charging cable into the charging station. Start the charging process (you may require the charging card from the on-board manual). Verify if the charging process has commenced, return the charging card to the on-board manual if needed, and lock the car using the cambio app.

Planning to embark on a longer journey in your electric car, maybe even for a holiday, and need to charge along the way? Be sure to allocate extra time for your journey and research charging options in advance along your route. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out to your branch. You'll find that taking a long journey with your e-car is a breeze!
One more word on electricity
The e-cars at cambio stations are exclusively charged with green electricity. We kindly request that you also charge using electricity from renewable sources while on the move, as this enhances the eco-balance of the e-cars.
