Having your own car costs money even when it's not being used. Fuel and repairs put a huge strain on the household budget. On top of that, it's a test of patience to find a free parking space in the city. We have the solution: station-based CarSharing with cambio.
In 1999, when the first CampusMobil in Lüneburg had its name pasted on it, not many people were familiar with the idea of "car sharing". The idea of no longer having a vehicle of one's own standing in front of the door as a guarantor for the implementation of sponane actions seemed rather unsettling. Sharing this drivable, familiar space with strangers did not seem very desirable at first. Nevertheless, this new mobility service, CarSharing, which was rather ridiculed at the time, has grown steadily over the last few decades. Today, it is hard to imagine Lüneburg's streets without it.
