Types of cookies at cambio

cambio generally uses two different types of cookies:

These cookies are temporary, i.e. they only stay on your hard drive for the duration of your visit to the website and are automatically deleted when the browser is closed. cambio uses session cookies to ensure uninterrupted identification and functionality during a visit to the cambio customer area. If you use the cambio customer area, your browser must accept session cookies.

Stored cookies are used exclusively for analysis of website use so that we can continue to improve its performance.
In order to analyse user activity on the website, cambio uses the Analysis tool Piwik. This guarantees that any processing of data takes place on cambios own server. In this way, the data is never sent to an externally contracted data processer. This data cannot be connected to a particular person and it is not matched with other data sources.

Internet advertising

cambio presents advertising on different websites, including mainly AdWords and web banners. We cannot influence how and how extensively the operators of these sites use cookies. Visits to the cambio website achieved via cambio advertising activities will not be connected with your identity. At no time do we share your activity on our website with advertisers.

Advertising agencies or service providers contracted by cambio can nonetheless assume that users who click on particular advertising content belong to the target group of those advertisers. It is also possible that advertisers share data with cambio about those who arrive at the cambio website via Internet advertising. Through these cookies, we find out which of our ads and banners are seen and clicked on. We use this information to optimise our Internet advertising.
